Need Another Reason To Flip The Finger To Public Education And Home School Your Kids?

Watch this video and then decide on the state of public education and the “value”, the necessity of public schools over private or home schooling.

Not a day goes by, it seems, when some public school somewhere does something so incredibly stupid, and gets away with it.  How many more reasons do we need before we start to demand more accountability for the public schools we pay for?

  1. This story is absolutely appalling. You cannot even give this teacher the benefit of the doubt that it was only a bad mistake! To not help the little girl once she started to go in her pants and then actually make her sit there in front of her classmates not to mention the shame she must have been feeling.. This is so unbelievably sad. This is a perfect example of public education out of control. This teacher is without excuse. This school administration is without excuse. AND what kind of testing should kindergartener’s be subjected to anyway? I am so mad right now.

  2. Indeed, there is no logical excuse for why this, or any teacher, would make a child sit in her own waste, or why the school administration would not take more stringent action against the teacher. Not only is it immoral, but, depending on how long she was made to sit upon her feces, there are health ramifications as well. Babies are not the only ones who can suffer from unbearable rashes and other terrible side affects. This girl was humiliated by her teacher for no reason. I am sorry to hear that the girl’s parents will not seek further action against this teacher. Parent of children in public schools, and communities in general need to begin standing up and demanding more accountability for the schools their taxes are funding. Until more people stand up, and stand up to these school, these types of issues will continue unabated and unresolved.
